The County Assessor will provide their Annual Notice of Assessment or Form 11 No Later Than April 30, 2019.  The cutoff date for appeals on the assessed value will be June 15, 2019.  Be reminded that this is just a notice of value, it is not the tax bill.  The Assessor's Office is here to help you understand the process of valuation.  The term "Improvements" does not refere to what you have done to the Dwelling or structure, it simply is a legislative term that describes the value of all the buildings or structures located on the said parcel.

The County Assessor has published a report that shows the average sale price of Residential Homes for 2014 through 2018 with an average sale price for the county.  This is a two-page report that shows each taxing unit as well as each Twp.

Assessor has posted the vacant AG Land Market rate for the County.  You will be able to find the average vacant AG Land rate per acre, for your taxing unit as well as the county average.  The report also shows that the sale price per acre for the county in 2018 rose 12.72% over the 2017 rate.  You can go here or you can go to the "Did You Know?" section

A new scam is circulating where people are calling family members of recently incarcerated persons or the person themselves.  The person identifies themself as an "Officer" and tells the person that more bond money is needed or the person will be re arrested.  All bond issues are handled in the Randolph County Lobby or through the Randolph County Court system.  If you receive calls like this and are in doubt, feel free to tell the person you are going to call the Randolph County Sheriff's Department and clear the matter up.  Bottom line, Do not give the people money on the phone.  These cas

Rumors that a man arrested in Randolph County a couple of days ago being the person that committed the Delphi double homicide are not true.  This agency was recently contacted by a media outlet stating that they felt the person recently arrested for child molestation greatly resembled the sketch of the Delphi killings.  This agency advised the media outlet that they would forward the info to an FBI agent that was involved in the case.  Outside of the person resembling the sketch, there is currently zero evidence that ties him to this case and he is not a suspect in the case.  Since then, th
