Randolph County Sheriff's Department has been investigating a series of thefts involving grain and trailers. The most recent, a trailer was stolen from Stone Station elevator which was fully loaded with grain. A white Volvo semi tractor was utilized in the theft. If anyone has information regarding the theft of grain, please contact Captain Tom Pullins at 765-584-3709 Ext 241. Leave a voicemail if not in the office. Your information will stay anonymous. The Randolph County Law Enforcement Youth Camp is accepting camper applications for this years camp through May 18th, 2018. Camp for 2018 is June 18 through June 21, 2018.
Campers need to be between the ages of 11 and 15, and must be 11 by June 18th, the opening day of camp. The application can be dropped off at the sheriff's department or any other police department within Randolph County. They may also be mailed to the Randolph County Sheriff's Department at 155 E South Street, Winchester, Indiana, 47394. Please address the letter to Youth Camp.
Beginning in 2018, all Randolph County registered voters may vote at any Vote Center in Randolph County. The new VOTE CENTERS are replacing the former voting polling places (the place that you used to vote). As long as you are a REGISTERED VOTER from RANDOLPH COUNTY, you may choose any of the VOTE CENTERS from the list. PHOTO ID IS STILL REQUIRED WHEN YOU GO TO VOTE.

The Randolph County Emergency Planning Committee will hold its meetings for the year 2018 at 8:30 AM at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, 155 E. South Street, Winchester, IN; on the following dates: February 7, May 2, August 1, November 7, and at such other times as shall be duly authorized by act of the Committee or its Chairman. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
The Randolph County Solid Waste Management District is pleased to present a Community Grant Program for 2016, designed to encourage an increase in recycling, raise awareness about important environmental issues and support efforts by county agencies, clubs and businesses to dispose of waste responsibly. All local units of government, non-profit organizations, schools, civic organizations, businesses and clubs operating within Randolph County are encouraged to apply.
The Sheriff's Department is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff. You can pick up an application at the Sheriff's Department and submit it with a resume if you prefer by April 15th, 2015. All applicants must be a high school graduate, have no felony or domestic violence convictions, and be at least 21 years of age.
The Sheriff's Department and City Departments within the County have been receiving multiple complaints of tool thefts from within garages and work sites. Thefts of tool trailers are also occurring. We ask that people in the community keep your garages secure as some of these are occurring in open garages which makes an easy target. We also ask that citizens report any suspicious activity that could be related. You can call in any tips at 765-584-3709 Ext 241 (leave a voicemail if you do not get an answer).

Simply go to https://www.facebook.com/RCcrimetips and keep up to date on things going on around the County. We need the public's assistance from time to time to get information on crimes and drugs so do your part and report what you know. Your name can stay anonymous.
In the final weeks of 2014, citizens of Randolph County may have received a notification via the mail from "Local Records Office," an organization that solicits your business to provide you with a copy of your deed and property record. This organization is not associated with the Randolph County Recorder's Office or any other governmental entity. "Local Records Office" is purely a business asking you to send a large sum of money, $89.00 to be exact, in order to obtain a copy of your deed.
