The Randolph County Health Department is working with the Indiana State Department of Health and Optum Serve in order to make testing available to all Hoosiers as Governor Holcomb attempts to open Indiana’s economy.
Criteria for testing are upper respiratory illness, shortness of breath, fever, loss of smell and/or taste, muscle aches, or any other symptoms associated with COVID 19, as well as those who have been in contact with a known positive COVID patient. Those desiring a test must also reside in Indiana.
The testing event will be held at the Winchester Field House at 399 Thompson Street, Winchester, Indiana Wednesday, May 13th through Friday, May 15th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thereafter, testing will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. until further notice. Patients must register in order to obtain an appointment for testing. Registration can be done online at https://lhi.care/covidtesting. Patients without internet access or those registering minors for testing will need to register by phone at (888) 634-1116. NO WALK-INS ALLOWED.
Patients will need to bring photo ID and insurance information. Insurance will be charged, but there will be no co-pay. If patients are without insurance, there will be no charge to the patient.
