How to Pay your Case Fees (Fine/Costs and Civil Judgments)

CRIMINAL FINES/COSTS PAYMENTS, SMALL CLAIMS & CIVIL JUDGMENT PAYMENTS

You CAN pay criminal fines/costs and small claims or civil judgments online. You must have your cause # in order to make a payment online. You will be charged $3.95 when paying up to $100.00 or a 3.95% convenience fee (for paying more than $100.00) when paying online. This fee is the same if you call into the Clerk's Office to pay during normal business hours.

You can use the Paygov System to pay charges to the clerk of the court. (http://paygov.us)

You can also mail a money order with the cause number listed on the money order that the money needs to be applied to.

CIVIL PAYMENTS PAID BY CHECK

Starting May 8, 2015 if you or your employer send money into the Clerk's Office and pay by CHECK, we will be holding the money that is to be sent out for 7 days while the personal or company check clears the bank. Our office has dealt with many bad checks, both personal and from businesses and it is difficult to collect the money. This is our solution. Waiting an extra week for civil judgment money may cause a difficulty for the person that was to receive the money so you may want pay with an alternative method. You can pay cash in the office, send a money order or cashier's check for no extra cost and the money will go out on time without the week hold.
